I wish I would have played closer attention to it only fitting DMC floss. It’s a great storage case just none of my holders fit.

Does the job storing my embroidery floss! My only gripe is that after manually separating the plastic dividers I had to use scissors to snip off extra plastic pieces between each one, because otherwise they stick out and won’t fit in the divider slots. Not a huge deal though, I was able to cut them down enough so they’d fit!

I ordered these because I wanted a smaller form factor for organizing my cross stitch floss. I was using a large, 11" ring like a someone with a ton of keys would use and snack sized baggies with the corners hole punched to keep my floss in one place. It got a little tedious flipping back and forth between the baggies to find the correct color I needed. It also took up a ton of room in the bin I use to hold my cross stitch supplies.Convenience: So, I've switched over to using the plastic DMC bobbins and I'm happy to report that these boxes do allow you to store the bobbins upright so the number labels are easy to see. I definitely didn't want to make things hard on me by having to lay the bobbins on their sides where the labels were more obscured.Size: These boxes hold several bobbins as well. I ordered three boxes in total because the projects I work on are tens of thousands of stitches and use ~150 different colors each. Two of the boxes I keep out for current colors I'm using and the third holds the ones I have but am not currently using. A full box, for me, holds about 120 bobbins of floss, with each row in the box holding about 30 bobbins with floss.Construction: I will say I also like these boxes come with dividers. I have one box with some dividers inserted to keep extra empty bobbins, packages of needles, needle threaders, and snips in. I don't have to worry about the threaders slipping underneath the dividers and getting mixed in with other stuff in the box. This was an annoyance I experienced with other types of cheaply made boxes I've had in the past. The boxes are also made of thick plastic that hold their shape and don't warp and flex. The latches are also thick and seem like they'll hold up with tons of use over time. The clear plastic also allows the color labels to be seen without needing to open up the boxes.Overall Verdict: 10/10 would recommend!

Grab a pair of scissors so that you can cut the dividers. They come attached together in about four sheets. It didn't take long to cut them and trim them for a perfect fit with the slots.The lid will pop off if you're not careful. I consider that both a plus and a minus. I was able to snap it back into place without a problem. That's one aspect of the plus rating. The other is stackability. I ordered two more of these boxes because one box wasn't enough to store my thread bundle.The thin walls are another plus and minus. They're too thin to hold a bobbin winder, but their translucence will allow me to check my supplies without having to physically open the box.

I was looking for, and found, a box for floss that would hold the floss standing upright instead of sideways. This box fits both. It feels relatively sturdy, although I won't be taking to and fro, it will mostly just sit in my supplies area. It latches well and it's easy to customize the size of compartments you want. Highly recommend.

I like this storage case because it is very sturdy. This is my 4th box because I have so much thread and is my favorite so far. The quality is much better than the other cases I have.

Great buy for organizing and storing my embroidery floss. I bought a huge pack of plastic floss bobbins separately. It fit about 5 spools to a section. Snug fit and love that the latches save me when I inevitably drop the thing as I carry it around.Only regret was that I didn’t buy two. I had way more floss than I thought I did.

I spent a lot of time trying to find a floss box that fit my needs, and this one fit the bill.I needed a tall enough box that allowed me to stand my bobbins up. It needed to be adjustable, solid, and with a good closure system. I was not disappointed.The only thing that I can say that bothers me is that DMC bobbins placed “standing up†directly under the latches will be slightly crushed, so I don’t place any bobbins there.
