Very cheap plastic. Super cute astronauts, but the string seems a little too long and the parachute is too thin in my opinion. Makes it harder to get the parachute to “fly†without dropping it from a very high point. We have 13 ft ceilings and sat our son on my husband’s shoulders and still couldn’t get them to fall the right way. Parachute didn’t really open and the astronaut fell too fast. Returned them.

Used for a graduation from aerospace engineering school as decoration/trinket for the kids. They did float with the parachute pretty well. We also put some in vases with water beads so they looked like they were floating is space. Worked super well. We only had to break off the top notch that held the parachute to let water in the astronauts or they would pop up to the top in the water.

These look great, and are perfect party favors. However, terrible quality - ESPECIALLY the parachute. it doesn't work. I cut the parachute off when I gave my son 1 to play with because he found them before i could hide them, which is why I opened them and checked it out.it could be a choking hazard for younger kids..... the string for the chute and the parachute itself could cause suffocating in newborns. even pets could be harmed. that's me being extreme but hey you never know until it happens to someone.might return these but will get a better look at them when my son (3 yrs) is not around.they don't even work honestly so while they look cute and stuff, unless you're up very high they just fall to the floor without the parachute working.
