Unfortunately these (even with the flame gel pots burning) do not stay hot enough to cook for more than 7-10 minutes. I followed instructions to warm them at 550°F for 45 minutes and when it was done I did the water test which worked. Still, we had a hard time cooking the meat that was room temperature to start. The stands are also a bit wobbly so I don't think they were put together well. The kids had fun, steak did taste good and the design was a nice concept.

The stone is very thick and heats up slowly, the liquid is used up quickly and the stone is still not hot, and it is also difficult to clean, the grease practically does not come off, both after washing in hot water and after scrubbing.
