While these are expensive once the baseplate is installed replacements in the future can be accomplished very quickly. This is the reason I purchased this one to have as a backup in case the light fails in the future. These were originally sold at Costco at a much cheaper price and had I been thinking ahead at the time would have bought several. They work really nice in my bedroom as they supply plenty of light and don’t have a bulky fixture hanging over my head.

I purchased and installed 4 of these in a closet ceiling. They went on easily and quickly. After 60 days, 1 failed. Contacted Artika who sent a replacement immediately. I have no problem highly recommending this product. The lighting is brilliant and the units mount flat to the ceiling.Doing an autopsy on the failed unit, it looked like the transformer output connection to the LED panel was loose and shorted. In all likelihood the LED panel and transformer are still okay, but the output connection is fried. Not an easy repair.

Decent lighting. Installed several for a project. Does not lay flush with ceilings even in perfect conditions because the frame is flimsy

I installed 6 of these lights in various places, and LOVED them. Then I had to replace one. Could Artika have made it more difficult? I don't think so. It LOOKS like the exact same light. When you call Artika, they will tell you "it is the exact same light". Well, the mounting bracket is NOT the exact same thing. Why, Artika? Why did you have to screw around with the mounting bracket?! Be prepared to drill at least 3 if not 4 new holes. The mounting bracket looks exactly like the original, but it is not the same size. What a pain in the A@# to replace. The engineer who designed this should be drawn & quartered, then shot.

After we mounted the light fixture in the kitchen it has made a huge difference. It is flush to the ceiling leaving only a small gap. The LED light illuminates the entire kitchen area without any problem. The illumination at night is so strong it seems as if it was day light which is perfect when I’m fixing supper. I’m thrilled with my purchase. It looks fantastic!

My sister bought this light and I loved it. I put this light up and it could not have been simpler. The directions almost impressed me more than the light itself. Unfortunately it had a slight flaw. I contacted the seller and received a response within HOURS. A new light was shipped the next day!!! I'm going to order from Artika whenever I need something ( anything ) from them.

i LOVE THE WAY IT HUGS THE CEILING IN OUR REC ROOM. THE DIMMER MAKES IT EASY TO ADJUST THE ROOM FROM READING A BOOK TO WATCHING A MOVIE ON TV.
