These small plate holder tags are very effective. Simply peel and stick. I used them to hang small wooden plaques. When I needed to remove and reposition them, they adhered immediately, demonstrating their strong holding power.

I have had very good luck with these and been very happy. I'm always careful to rough the surface with a piece of sandpaper first if it is super smooth. I initially bought them to put on the back of my art projects of all kinds. Then I used them on these 6-in ammonites which are pretty heavy, but you do have to find a flat spot. They've been up there for about 5 months and are looking good. Since then I've used them on the backs of anything It's a good solid hard surface, like a fiber board, wooden tongue depressor, or a good sturdy cardboard. Just an easy and quick way to put a solid hanger on the back of many things.That being said I don't know how it works on actual plates 🙃

UPDATED REVIEW: These hung for two months with no issues whatsoever, then I came home one day to find that the top plate had simply detached and fallen off. There was no warning, no leaning of any kind suggesting that it was coming loose. The wall these plates were hanging on is not connected to another wall where there could have been banging or shaking to shake the plates loose. It just fell off unprompted and shattered. I’ve been finding tiny shards of ceramic in our kitchen and living room for days, usually by getting them stuck in our socks or skin. The top plate hit the bottom plate as it fell, causing that plate to also fall and get chipped and scratched (hanger is still attached to that one, though, somehow). Unfortunately, my and my husband's initial skepticism turned out to be true. No longer recommend!Original review was 5 stars with this caption:My fiancé and I were certainly skeptical when we took these out of the package and saw how small and light they were. We were happy to be proven wrong! I stuck these on the plates and let them sit for a day before I hung them to make sure they bonded well. These plates are pretty hefty and they’ve held with no problem!

These adhesive hangers works great on hanging pictures frames and decorative ceramic display plates. But there are few that the adhesive wasn't strong enough.

within a couple weeks sticky gave way and 4†saucer fell off wall. not much weight but didn’t hold it.

I bought these so I can finally hang up my plates, and I was amazed on how strong they are, at first I looked at them thinking i wasted my money on something that wasn't going to work, but I was totally and completely wrong. I put them on let them sit for the amount of time instructed, an they are not coming off, they are very strong, they don't slip, they stay in place, they are a great item to have cuz you can use them on so many different things you want to hang within the weight limit allowed but they also have bigger sizes so try them out, you will be glad you did

these are everything I was hoping for. have been doing some tile art and needed a way to hang on the wall. the 3M adhesive is very strong and the hook is a great size. it also moves smoothly on its hinge part so it is easy to use and allow a pretty flat hang on the wall. excited to get to use more of these

Very strong adhesion and easy to use! I put it on the back of a enamel bowl and a ceramic platter that I wanted to hang up. Both are still on the wall so that is good news!

Really bad.Cheap.Does not stick. I used them for my baby's room and nothing would stick. The items kept falling off the wall. Would not recommend!

pads not sticky enough, tried to hang a very light plate on wall and fell off after an hour
