I have this mounted on my rooftop and I am very pleased with the result. The shadow is pleasant and the sail can withstand strong winds. Since I bought it 5 months ago I never had an issue!

Bought these shade cloth tarps to soften a harsh light coming our way. They work well and have been fine with wind. They do sag/slouch over time so keep that in mind. You will need to tighten them up after a couple of months. Ours is vertical, but if you use it as a horizontal or angle shade cloth, make sure you have ample retightening space at the ends, we also bought hefty cinches which as recommended and they are strong quality.

Ripped in multiple spots within a couple months. Before it ripped, it worked well, was a little thinner than I was expecting but kept the sun out for the most part. Came with one two ropes to tie it down, not 3 like I would have guessed.

I've not had this up for a very long time. BUT, so far so good. I've not had it a full summer. It takes the worst of the glare away, however if you are looking for a thick shade that actually casts a shadow, this is not it. I love it, because it doesn't make everything dark and dingy. It gives me a little cooling, and as I say, it takes the glare off. It is well made and a good quality. I would recommend.
