The Buddha Posture for Saturday, known as "Protected by the Naga King" or Pang Nak Prok, depicts the Buddha sitting in a full lotus position, meditating on the coiled body of the Naga Muchalinda. This serpent shields the Buddha from the rain by using its multi-headed hood as a cover.

This position symbolizes a moment six weeks after Siddhartha's Enlightenment, when the Naga King offered protection to the Buddha during heavy rainfall.
