This item I was worried about. A lot of people buy Ricks or other particular brands for certain reasons. Well this is the first stator/regulator I had ever installed, and I am not planning on keeping the bike for very long. So, this one was very reasonably priced and included everything I needed except maybe gasket-maker sealant.Item arrived in great condition on time as promised. It was well packaged and undamaged and fairly easy to get unwrapped and checked out. Everything was in perfect new condition including the seal. It was flat in the bottom of the box and not bent in any way.Like a lot of things these days the instructions were very generic for any bike. Not tailor made for the Vulcan 900. But I was able to watch some you-tube videos to figure it out. Some said to cut the two wiring harnesses and splice them together to avoid having to remove the belt drive pulley. I however had a short behind my pulley and ended up having to remove the wiring harness and just install the new fresh wiring. Glad I did instead of soldering it. It would have taken a lot longer and the job would have been more complex because you are dealing with wires in an oily environment which means great care, preparedness, and cleanliness must be done in the soldering process. I was able to use a ratchet strap hooked to the middle of the handle bar and ratchet up the rear wheel just enough to give me just barely enough slack to slide out and back in the belt drive pulley. So it wasn't bad. The wiring was hard to hold in place upon reassembly with the Permatex Ultra Black gasket maker on it. So I installed the seal on the bike first after cleaning that surface then then pressed the cover into place while holding the wires in position, so as to not have to attempt to hold the seal against the cover with wires pushing it off or over to one side during fitment. It went together perfectly. So I connected up the wires to the new battery and she started right up.I have only ridden twice now and it does seem to have more power, and feel a little smoother. I forgot to listen for the whining or whirring noise it had before the swap. However, the fact that I didn't notice the sound while riding indicates the replacement solved that issue. However, I will listen for that the next time I ride and report back. I'll also give an update after 3 to 9 months to report on the durability/longevity of the new product as well.So for now, order this one with confidence. I hope it holds up as long as some of the other more expensive and/or recommended brands.NOTE: I believe many new brands will sometimes make as good or better products because they are trying to win your business from some of the more expensive reputable brands. The connector for the regulator connector is incorrectly wired. It will blow your main fuse until you fix the order of the wires. I do not recommend purchasing this item unless you are very comfortable with a wiring diagram. I wasted many hours figuring out this issue. Waiting for a response from the seller so I will update if I hear back

The power (red) and ground (black) wires at the rectifier plug were wired backwards and kept blowing main fuse. Once I swapped them around, bike fired up with no issues. Runs and charges. For how long, only time will tell if it was a good deal. For now, I'm riding again
