The item did arrived on time and was well packaged. I've ordered Nick's Grinder Mates before from a different supplier. They all seem to have small issues. My previous pair, the jaws never line up, so it never gripped the glass correctly. It also caused the hinge to fail after a few months of use. This pair I just received has a warped bottom handle so it doesn't sit flat on the grinding table. See Photo. I like this tools and it is very handy for a stained glass artists to use. I just wish it was made better.

The Grinder Mate is my stained glass grinding MVP! It is easy to use & works well.- It holds the glass securely. I have never had any issues with slippage.- It holds the glass level. ​- It does hold the glass higher than if you are grinding without it, but what I really like about that is it utilizes a different area of my grinder bit which makes it a quicker grind. I use the Glastar Superstar II grinder so I'm not sure how it fares with bits on other grinders.- Like other reviewers, I also ended up cutting off the plastic nubs at the bottom. It just seemed to get in the way. That said, it was easy to remove with an X-Acto knife.I love this tool!

This has been an awesome tool, and I've been using it for all of my stained glass projects. It is the most helpful for tiny pieces, but I've been using it with other sizes as well. It has helped with my hand strain. Would recommend. Even if you just use it for the tiny pieces, I say it is worth the price.

This product is perfect for small piece glass grinding. Not only does it save cuts and broken fingernails, but you are able to grind pieces too small to possibly be held by hand. Yes, you will need to remove the rubber tips on the bottom (no idea what those are there for), but after that, it will move freely. I can't believe all the years I went without this and suffered cuts and impossibly small glass pieces.
