I have a huge classroom library and these are a must! Very Durable and stay put. I buy library cards. I do have to cut off a quarter inch on the long side so the cards slide in easily. It is a simple library system. I have 3 poster boards because I teach 3 classes. I have 30 of these on each of the poster boards. I then put the pockets in the books with a library card. when students check out the books they put their card on the poster board according to their number. The students are numbered 1-30.I have used this system for years. It is simple and it helps me keep track of my books. This product makes it simple and easy. These pockets are more durable then other ones I have tried. The one picture is about 1/3 of my books.

I purchased these "library card holders" so that I could put index cards into my various paper planners. They hold index cards that I either write on or print on with routines or reference information. They hold each card very tightly, perhaps a little bit too much so.The size is great, I can even use it in a mini HP planner, half-letter size planners and definitely the small Russell and Hazel ring binder. I can put multiple cards on classic HP and letter size.Because the backing is white, it's not the most aesthetically pleasing, I wish I had been able to find clear backed ones, and found them for a reasonable price. One thing for sure, I don't think I will ever run out of these! The reasonable price included tons of them.I can see these being very useful for pages dedicated to individuals, with current preferences/sizes for giving gifts, holding current prayer requests, without having to redo the page all the time. I have never done a wardrobe Look Book, but I can see some potential to use those for something like that, and it might make planning outfits for a long trip a little bit easier.I had hoped to use these to hold fabric samples as well, but they just seem a bit too snug for that. They would need to wrap around a card to maintain enough stiffness to get into the pocket, and that's really snug. Maybe I could get away with just gluing one layer of fabric to a card. I will probably go with different pockets for that in the future, I just thought that I could repurpose hundreds of flashcards really easily that way! I have plenty of both blank ones and the kind that have been turned into flashcards, so I thought this was a brilliant Eco friendly functional idea! These pockets are often advertised as a clever way to do flashcards for students, but given the tight fit, I'm not sure they are the most practical for that. I can easily imagine either the card or the pocket or the backing suffering damage in short order. Same thing if you have a recipe with information on both sides.

It was surprisingly difficult to find a short-side loading clear adhesive pocket to hold a label card. Sometimes I wonder, what do these manufacturers imagine people are using this for? Why not make it to fit something that already exists, like an index card? I had to create a text box on Windows in order to cut cardstock to fit this strange size. I just wanted a top loading label pocket for some storage containers - wider than a binder label but not more than about three inches. It kind of works for my purpose, was the closest thing I could find. I could use a stick on label but then have to keep pulling them on and off. Anyway as far as the quality, it stuck on and is still stuck on. So yay for adhesive.
