Superb gun. Does everything right.I've used a Divibliss gun for years and it's great for big jobs, but this LVLP gun is terrific for large and small projects.I used it recently to do a urethane candy job on a motorcycle. I used a 1.7 gun to lay down 3 coats of epoxy primer, then switched to the 1.3 Astro for the Base, Color, and Clear coats. Adjustments are a piece of cake and are very accurate. Spray pattern is very even. I put down two coats of Base, three coats of color, and three coats of clear - all coats went down flawlessly. It's such an easy gun to use. I ran about 18psi at the handle. The excellent pattern adjustments are really nice to have when spraying candy to prevent banding and hot spots.PROS:- Light and easy to handle - comfortable in the hand- No leaks in the cup - perfect seal with no gaskets- Very easy to disassemble and clean- Superb controls with great precision- High standard of finish - top class- Excellent results with a small compressorCONS:- None that I can findThe Astro is fast becoming my "go to" gun. Highly recommend this product.

I've tried all 3.The green HVLPThe blue HTEAnd this was the last I purchased, the LVLP.Are there differences in these guns? Yes.It's ofcourse just the caps that are different but there is a BIG difference and let me tell you that the clear winner is this LVLP gun.It sprays metallics beautifully. And that's why it's my base gun.The green HVLP is 2nd place. It's good at metallics but not as good as the orange gun. The blue HTE is third. It looks cool but isn't as good with metallics. I do not recommend these guns for clear. I feel they are meant for base. For $100 you cant beat this gun. The orange LVLP EVO-T 1.3 is the one you should buy and you will love it!! 20 psi for base. Full fan and fluid. For clear I use my Devilbiss GTI pro lite t110/te20.Super easy to clean too, smooth trigger. You will not be disappointed with this gun

This is an excellent hvlp gun for the price. My air compressor is only 50 liters yet is not struggling much.very smooth and lays my clear coats like crystal glass.Very light, comfort and smooth.Easy to setup and control.vry, low orange peel for clear coats.set the psi at 20 or 29.gun setting at between low & med.try spraying it on a flat glass to test & fine tune the gun.best way to adjust for the lowest orange peel.I love this gun similar to my to my devil & graco.love this baby,

Absolutely the best spray gun for the money used to be the collision refinisher at a high-end dealership for 20 years and had the best high-dollar spray guns. Started restoring a classic car and wanted to try spraying it in my garage. Didn't want to spend a lot of money on a spray gun. Sprays as good as the guns I used to use. Would highly recommend it. Very low air consumption runs fine off of 28 gallon compressor.

I'm using this gun for automotive base coat. I have a different preference for spraying clear, but as my dedicated base gun I give it big thumbs upðŸ‘Light weight, nice finish, nice fan. Not a complete air hog. You could use it for clear as well of course, but I got a couple pricier guns for that job. Really nothing bad to say about it. If you are on the fence, buy it! You will like itðŸ‘

I decided to give this gun a try after using their 4014 euro guns. Compared to the 4014, the coverage was about 50% larger. The atomization seems pretty standard and the over spray was a little on the higher side. The Air curtain does make paint tack slightly faster which affects the finish and drying time. Overall It's a great gun for production.Pros:- 8-12 inch fan @5-8.5in.-easy to clean-Waterborne compatibleCons:-11.5-13.5 cfm which is not too far off from sata's 15.2 cfm. I prefer if the fluid output was a little bit higher-struggles to atomize higher solid clears

I painted the fuel tank on my 07 R6. It was my first time using a proper paint gun. It came out very nice and better that anticipated. I used the 3m pps 2.0 adapter and cups for easy clean up.

I absolutely love this gun. I worked at a body shop 20 years ago, but life took me in a different direction. I recently decided to paint my gas saver and it turned out great. This gun is amazing

Have been wanting to get back in the paint game for a while. Now that I have the space and the equipment it ws nice to get back at it. After looking at a lot of different guns I decided on the EVOT 13. Not only was I surprised by the way the gun feels in the hand it is incredibly light and feels very solid. I used it for everything from selaer to clear coat. It layed down the material very nicely. After waiting nearly 20 years to paint a complete car again it was great to get the gun back in my hand. It will not be the last and this gun is going to be the one to get it done. Highy recommend it. I am wanting to get the HE just to compar them.

Just received new Euro Pro Evo-T 1.3 mm today. Really impressed. Great finish, functions really smooth. Fitted with 3M PPS adapter #27. Also tried #9 which also fits fine but will use #27 permanently. Will be adding Euro Pro Evo-T 1.4 tip soon. Could not be more pleased. Great job Astro. Also have Euro Pro HE103 on the way. Sure they will all be just as good and will top it off with green EuroHV105.Good addition and upgradeto my other 5 spray guns. NOTE: These are "not LVLP guns". These are in between a HVLP & LVLP a "hybrid" as per the Astro company inquiry. You get the best of both worlds.

I have had some expensive paint guns. And this one can lay down metallics very well, and clear coats like Glass.I can’t complain. It’s ok for the handyman- not for everyday professional use.
