This is a low compliance cartridge and can be ran with a high tracking force. This old pioneer has a heavy arm and needs high tracking force to run properly. I was running a 2M blue on this table set at 1.8 tracking force but it would track correctly on this table. If I increased the track force to 3 or 3.5 it would have soon collapsed the suspension on the stylus. I'm running this cartridge at a tracking force of 3 and it runs smooth as butter and sounds amazing. If you need a low compliance cartridge I would start here.

I mounted this on a dual 1211 turntable, with the correct alignment protractor tool. Upon playing the record with stylus weight at 2.75 grams, the cantilever would not allow the tip to track inwardly. It's stiffness forced me to move the stylus tracking weight to almost 4 grams before proper tracking..

This works as expected with my audio technica lp120. I had no issues with installing this, and it holds the needle in place nice and secure
