This mask works very well!!!! The only con is where the wire mesh and the cloth mesh meet.... it rubs on your face a little but not horrible. Other than that its a GREAT mask!!!

I write this review with acknowledgment of return of product... I returned it not due to damage or poor quality, but because it was uncomfortable on me. Otherwise I believe this product of high quality and design.Even with adjustments to the straps I just couldn't get it right on my head. I have a weird shaped head it seems.

I wanted something decorative to put over masks so I ordered them for my husband and I. I like the design. If we’re wearing masks for the foreseeable future, why not make them cool accessories (Of course disinfect, etc after wearing)

Its a decent protective mask. The head band works and keeps it in place. I trimmed off the plastic rings that hold the head band to the mask so I could install a helmet adaptor strap system, and it worked flawlessly with that system.The stitching is your average "overseas" factory stitching. Nothing to write home about, but should hold. The mask is a big "tall" for my face and doesn't match the nose ridge of my eye pro perfectly. Thus pushes the mask further down leaving a few spots where a bb could slip in and lowers the bottom edge quite far down into my neck area thus making it hard to look down when in the field as the chin is bumping into my gear or chest.For that reason this is not a great mask. However the reason why its not a great mask, is why its a good mask. The metal mesh mouth guard is not sewn into the sides. The sides are sewn separately, and then they are hot glued in place to the mesh with elastic material over the nose and chin edges. The reason this is bad is that it has potential to come apart after time and use. However... if you are handy this is GREAT because with some patience and time you can remove the sides from the mesh without any damage. Why is this good, because you can use a pair of tin snips and customize the nose and chin areas to perfectly match your eye wear, and trim any excess off the bottom to free your neck/throat area. If your handy with sewing you can then alter the sides if need be.Would be a great donor mask to turn permanently mount to the bottom edge of a pair of goggles and forget the straps altogether.One other thing I found when I pulled the unit apart was a couple layers of non breathable foam. I imagine that this added to help pad the face from hits. The fabric itself is thick on the outside and the inside has some mesh like padding in its design. The only thing the foam I pulled out seems to add, is insulation... or heat.The last 2 pictures (wearing red buffalo check jacket) shows how the fit is better after the alterations. I can look a lot further down, and the bridge of the nose fits much nicer into my eye pro, and doesn't leave a huge gap for bb's to smack me right on the nose. Due to the mounting method I have to hold the mask to my helmet it will always leave a little gap on my cheek under the eyepro, unless I remove the strap on the mask and move it a bit lower, but that was more sewing than I wanted to put in. I was considering picking up another one of these to do a full hanging mask setup. Which is the true beauty of these masks. They are good enough to work with minor issues, easy enough to disassemble and alter, and cheap enough to get a replacement if you screw up or want different modifications.

not the most comfortable thing to wear, but will most certainly protect your mouth and nose flawlessly once properly adjusted. Adjusting though was quite a pain, the straps arent very well made.

The metal part protects your mouth.The fabric piece allows you to get in close to your sights and accurately lay down shots.Excellent support, wraps around the back of your head via multiple straps.Recommended product.
