Great ESS clone made by FMA, but the fan or fan control arrived non-functioning. Comes with dark and clear lenses. Overall construction is adequate and on par with most Chinese-made goggles. The strap is VERY tight wrapping around a L/XL FAST helmet, so be aware of that factor. FMA also sells goggle straps that mount on the ARC rails, but that's an additional purchase. Goggles breathe VERY well even without a functioning fan. Overall comfort is a solid 7/10, being that they pinch your nose bridge slightly.Fix for the fan is available at

As such the fan works fine and does not fog up, the problem is that the circuit is cheap and of poor quality. The circuit is flooded with silicone and in the fourth game the cables burst. seems to be an unbranded product

The fan is completely useless if you actually run. The fog build up is to much for the fan. The battery box pops open while running causing the fan to shut off. Do not buy. As long as you don't breathe, the goggles are amazing.

Fan is to weak to stop from fogging. Great other than that. Ordered an ex fog.

wouldn't recommend these goggles, confusing they have a wire that heats up the goggles but didn't understand how it worked.

Fan didn't work after inserting new batteries. I'm used to extremely comfortable quality Empire, Smith, and Bolle snowboarding goggles/paintball facemask. Not sure if it's ANSI Z87 that requires the mask's padding to be extremely uncomfortable but it is. For what it's worth I'm 5'7" and the geometry of the mask doesn't fit my face.

Just add zipties to hold the battery compartment in place.Everything works great, no fog, good protection.

Could have a better seal around the face, and better battery holder, but for the price it was reasonable to keep the humidity off my lenses while I played

Before I start I want to say if you have a medium-large sized head these are not for you. They are very much an asain fit. I freaking love these goggles! I shot them point blank range with my Airsoft Sniper and they just skuffed up a bit and wiped clean. Someone said they were worried about them actually holding up to a BB. They may not be rated but I tell you they work for me. I've been hit in the goggles a few times during airsoft and these goggles hold up well! The fan feature is very good! I have used this for the entire summer and only fogged when the fan ran out of batter or I forgot to turn them on! Batter lasts about 8-16 hours depending on the setting and the brand of bettery you use. I always use max setting and recommend brand name batteries. Don't cheap out on the batteries. You'll be replacing them every 4 hours if you do.

Takes the hit at point blank at 1.4jules so it will work in a game been shot in the goggles so can vouch for them the fan is a little lack luster but works in some situations but in extreme sweat and heat you will still fog

My background: Professional Engineer in the Navy, I've been playing Airsoft for about 14 years.Pros:- Really nice case- The head band material is good and is adjustable.- The battery pack is not very heavy and is somewhat resistant to weather. (see more in the cons).- The goggle profile doesn't prevent me from aiming down sights.Cons:- The plastic: it is very hard, bordering on brittle quality. This to me was an instant red flag, indicating overall quality.- The foam used to cushion the face is very dense and offers little comfort and NO seal (for my face)- When worn, I have about a 1/4" gap around the bridge of my nose. This is a full stop point for me, I will NEVER use this playing Airsoft because this makes them unsafe.- The small circuit board is not sealed in anyway, not even by the battery case. It is totally exposed, so be careful about using this in rain/snow.- The manufacturer just cut the foam out of the side of the goggles for the wire path, the rest of the foam on the side will come off quite easily.- The unit I received came defective and the fan does not work so I can't comment on its effectiveness. That being said, it seems like it should be sufficient.Bottom Line: You can tell by comparing the pictures that the item I received was not the same as what was advertised and I do not recommend this item. It is plagued with poor quality plastic and bad construction practices. Because of the grade of plastic, the frame is very stiff and will not accommodate a face shape that is outside a small range. Consequently, most people are likely to experience a high level discomfort which will get worse when wearing them for extended periods. I can't comment on the effectiveness of the fan but I think that it is dwarfed by the safety concerns and build quality issues. I will be returning this item and requesting a full refund.Honestly, shame on the seller for falsely advertising this item.
