I love that the top surface of this scale is a piece of glass, so it's very easy to wipe clean. The scale is approximately 6.5" x 8" including the keypad/display area at the bottom. It comes with the two AAA batteries it needs to operate. I checked its accuracy against another scale I have and they both read the same amount. This comes with a large section at the end of the manual to look up codes for common foods, and then it can display the macros for the food. Alternatively, you can find the code on a site (app.cannyscale.com) linked via QR code in the manual. It's very easy to use - you just enter the code and the values appear in the display. You can also choose among different measurement units; the resolution is 1g up to 5Kg, but I only tested below one pound. Great for weighing mail too.

Measuring my food accurately is very important to me as I have Type 1 diabetes. This scale is an accurate measure of food such as pasta, almond flour, sweetener, etc. The only negative is that the scale turns off mid-measure which has proven to be frustrating for me. When I turn it back on, I have to start over measuring my ingredients. This was my situation the other day when I was measuring ingredients for a recipe. I used up a bag and had to open another. While doing this, the scale turned off. I have looked for a way to keep the scale on longer, but I couldn’t find anything in the instructions. This is why I have given this scale four stars.

This is the Ataller Food Scale with Nutritional Calculator. This is a small scale that will fit perfectly on the kitchen counter. It looks nice, it comes with batteries and it’s super easy to use! It has everything on it to be able to track the weight and calories for your food. With this, it makes it easy to track your food intake.

I got this Ataller food scale as I was curious how it worked and, frankly, I was skeptical. Well, it did not take long for me to get sold on it. All you do is look up the item cold by using your phone's camera to give a link QR code and in this case a banana is 338 then put that code into the scale. You don’t have to do that all the time as you can pre-lode up to 99 item codes. You can find the QR in the manual or underneath the scale. Even better, the manufacturer has listed codes on 32 pages worth from alfalfa sprouts to zucchini. I’m totally sold on this and certainly worth the price and more. Here's to good health!

Accuracy on point: measurement of ingredients while cooking, baking, or serving portions. Units switch seamlessly with ease for whatever recipe one could think of. Sleek, light in weight, sits nicely on the counter, and very easy to store. Super easy to clean, just wipe down after use. The tare function is really useful, making it very easy to weigh ingredients in bowls. If you want a reliable, easy-to-use food scale, this one does the job and is highly recommended!

I ordered this food scale to help with building healthy recipes and determining the macros for meals. It worked perfectly right out of the box, the included batteries were a big plus, and it is sensitive to minute changes in weight which is fantastic for those who are watching every bit of food. This food scale works great!! It's so easy to use. I love that it takes batteries so you don't need electrical for it. Lots of different settings and features. Big, bright easy to read LED display.
