I bought this to carry my Bible in and it works great. It will fit the Bible and a couple other thinner books as well.I like that I can stuff the strap in the gun pocket if I only need the little handle or pull out the strap and instantly I’m back to a sling bag. And I can carry my gun if I want along with my Bible! Bonus

Compact, sub compact or large frame, I’ve had them all in here along with from 2 to 5 extra mags plus many more items. This bag has been my go to on several occasions and has yet to let me down and I get compliments on it which is always a plus.
