I was very pleasantly surprised with these pans! This was my first time using Ateco pans. They cooked very evenly, and look at those sharp edges!It took three boxes of cake mix split evenly to produce these cakes, baked for about 55 minutes, at 350°. I have no doubt these cakes would would not have domed as much, nor baked as brown, had I used baking/cake strips, But I didn't have any on hand that were large enough to fit around the pans. (The 8" Wilton were about an inch too short)Highly recommend!

Well made, nice weight, great straight sides without annoying rounded corners or places to batter to hide. Has a nice release although not non-stick. I prefer the aluminum finish to the dark brown non-stick because I feel it's gives a nicer end product. All considered a very nice pan, gives professional results, reasonably or at least competitively priced to other pans of similar quality. I choose the 3" depth for its versatility but if what you are planning on using the pan for is something relatively thin (brownies) or that you'll be cutting a piece at a time you might want to consider getting the 2" depth. I usually make a parchment sling when I'm baking or making candy that I want to lift out whole so the 3" depth isn't a problem for me and I have the increased room for cakes to rise as they bake without worrying about "overflow".

I've always wanted to make square cakes. I find using parchment paper and buttering and lightly flowering the pan (as you're supposed to do) yields perfect results every time I've used them. I'm very pleased with the 3-inch height. It both distinguishes and professionalizes the look of the cakes when stacking, as opposed to your traditional 2-inch pans. Cleaning was no problem.

I very recently wanted to purchase 3 of these pans, but they only had 2 in stock. I purchased the 2 pans for 18.99/each. The pans is very high quality and am very pleased with the performance. However, I went back about a week later to purchase the 3rd pan. The price had gone from 18.99/each to 29.98/each. Very frustrated with the increase when I should have been able to purchase the 3rd pan for the same price I purchased the first 2. Again the quality of the pan is not the problem, it is with the inconsistency in the pricing.

I love this cake pan. I use parchment paper to keep it from sticking and hard to clean areas.

Have been looking for baking pan with straight sides. These are rather expensive but works great for baking taller cakes like sponge cakes. Great brand that i have a few of their products. Light weight and easy to clean (I lined with parchment paper for easier cleaning).
