So, you get 12. I ended up giving some to my Mom because I just didn't need that many, but these little things are great. Easy to hold, easy to clean, long enough to test cakes in standard or medium depth tins, and also things like muffins or bread. My Mom has issues holding things, and she held this fine. I don't have a dishwasher, so I hand wash it. Quick cleaning. I recommend this product.

I use these daily to check the internal temperature of a myriad of foods. These do exactly what I had expected. The price of these cake testers are much cheaper per unit if you buy 12. I gave some out for Christmas gifts to fellow line cooks and felt this was an economic purchasing decision.

Very happy with cake testers. Package of 12 is helpful. Because of their size, they are easy to misplace. so having 12 is a joy.

VERY USEFUL FOR CHEF. CAKE TESTER IS NOT JUST FOR CAKE AS IT NAME. YOU CAN CHECK THE TEMPERATURE OF YOUR PROTEIN BY SIMPLY JUST FEELING IT ON YOUR SKIN.
