A nice decorative addition! I have this on my dining room table & I use it to decorate it for the different seasons. It is rough to the touch but not splintery & light weight.

This is a very cute wooden dough bowl but unfortunately it arrived with a big chunk of wood broken! Don’t know what’s going on in the packing departments of Amazon because I have had 5 broken items delivered this December.

Love, love the look of this bowl. I have pretty much my whole house in light wood and black accent items so this fit in well. It is very lightweight for it's size. Mine was in perfect shape on arrival!

As another reviewer said, I didn't visualize the size of this properly. It's huge! That's ok. It will be fun to fill it was th all different kinds of seasonal colors.It's fairly heavy and completely unfinished. I am going to treat it with some oil to prevent cracking. I will use a food safe oil. It's a little rough but not rough enough to require sanding unless something like a gigantic taco bar comes to mind.Very happy with this. It will be fun to play with. I can see it full of evergreens, silver balls, and red candles!

This bowl is very pretty, and VERY lightweight. It is a rustic look, so they were clear in their description about that. I would say that this is pretty much a decor-only piece.
