The threaded tip that retains the fork on the pivot ball was staked in place, which is fine if it is done right but it wasn't. The staking displaced so much metal that it would have galled the fork pivot socket if I had not filed it down before install. There were also MANY machining and handling defects in the threads, chiefly machining defects around the groove for the grease port on the side of the stud and many dings and dents across the threads that would have damaged the threads of the cast aluminum bellhousing if I had just blindly threaded it in instead of inspecting it and using a thread file to clear them all.I'll buy any other brand next time, there is no reason I should have to spend 30 minutes correcting manufacturer issues on an OEM fitment part I paid for.
