This fit perfectly on my 2010 Ford Escape. I was easy to install, lined up perfectly, and works perfectly now that it is installed. This fixed my issue of the rear hatch not opening and I am very pleased with the price and quality.

My great nephew's back hatch wouldn't open since he bought it. He couldn't even carry his wheel chair with him. It had to be carried on top of the car. i purchased this lock for him since a few years ago i had to replace the hatch lock on my car . It has worked flawlessly for several years now so I think it will be ok for my nephew's car. Easy to install too. Well worth the money

This item was easy to install in just minutes. I did not have any issues once I installed it into my 2010 Ford Escape. Now I can open the trunk with no issues. I would recommend this item to anyone that has issues with their trunk.-Mike
