Direct replacement for the Atwood relief valve that was in my RV's water heater. The hardest part of the job was getting an adjustable wrench on the leaking valve which has been in there for 17 years. Once I was able to get a wrench on the leaking valve it didn't take much to get it free. Installing this new one was easy. there are cheaper relief valves than this Atwood valve but I wanted the exact same part.

Bought for my 11gal marine sealand water heater as it was leaking when the water got hot. Perfect 1/2†fit and no more leaks.

I swapped this out, made sure I had followed the instructions on how to recreate an air gap in my water heater, and it was still weeping as the heater got close to reaching its hottest temp. I spoke with my RV repair guy, and he mentioned that air gap or not, the tricky thing he's noticed with these is that if you open the valve to test it, or mess with them before you put them on , they never work right after, and often leak. Sounded fishy to me, but I sent the part back for another, tried it again, and amazingly, no leaks. SO, just in case-when you receive it, don't open the valve or play with it, just put it on and be done with it.

My valve was old, corroded and was on the verge of leaking, so I proactively replaced it before it failed. This replacement was easy to install and has the longer probe as compared to the Camco generic replacement.

J'avais une sonde de 2 pouces sur mon chauffe-eau Atwood 2005 de 6 gallons et il n'y avait que des valves avec des sondes de 4 pouces de disponible. Comme c'était le bon numéro de pièce, j'ai pris celui là et ça fonctionne très bien. L'installation prend 10 minutes mais faites attention, c'est beaucoup plus facile en enlevant la grille de métal qui recouvre la sortie d'air du bruleur, il n'y a que deux visses à enlever (il y a des vidéos sur Youtube). Nécessite une bonne grosse pince à tuyau qui peut s'accoter sur les deux parties plate de chaque côté de la valve. Prenez le temps de bien nettoyer les filets sur le chauffe-eau avant d'installer la nouvelle valve. J'ai ajouté un peu de ruban téflon même si la nouvelle valve vient avec déjà avec un peu de graisse.
