My very favorite elastic! This elastic is soft, sturdy, easy to work with, and comfortable to wear. I have been sewing masks since March and used many different elastics but this is by far my favorite. Thank you Atwood Rope company for providing such a great product!

Love that this elastic is made in the USA. It's strong yet much more comfortable than using a hair tie or something similar. Being round, it's more comfortable than flat elastic. Black is great for darker colored masks, especially for the guys. Being a sewer, I would use this elastic for other projects as well.

Nice looking and feeling elastic but it shrinks with every wash. I have had to redo my masks twice already because the elastic shrunk so much it was pulling off my ear when I tried to wear my mask. Very disappointed.

Bought in white first, then in black. I don't know why but the black feels better than the white. It seems slightly thinner. They both work well on my facemasks. Think they might be slightly better if they were 1/8". For my husband who wears hearing aids I had to buy a thinner elastic but for me this works well and I think they will hold up well. All in all a good quality product!

I read the reviews about the shrinkage, so I washed/dried 5 yards and it shrank to 3 yards 31". Easy to preshrink. It is quite thick and thickened up a bit more as it was washed. It'll be fine for adult masks but it might be a bit big for my grandkids little faces. It is nice and stretchy.

Great for men's masks, or any dark-colored cloth. It has 100% stretch. Three inches stretches to 6. The braided material is easy to sew through, the bonus is that it is latex free.

Purchased for use in home made sewn face masks. Works well. Comfortable and stretchy. Cut ends can be slightly melted to prevent fraying.
