I still like taped music because it travels well. By the time the tape wears out it's time to move to other music anyway. This product is easy to use, and it makes a big difference to the sound quality. If you still use tape you should try this product. I will repurchase when this one wears out.

With the virtual death of cassette tapes as an audio format almost two decades ago it is getting harder to find accessories like this cleaner/demagnitizer to keep my old tape decks working well. I've only used it once so far but it seems to be a good, simple design and works well enough. This is a "wet" cleaner that comes with a small bottle of cleaning solution (probably alcohol). You put a few drops in a hole on the cassette before each use to moisten the cleaning tape that runs across and cleans the heads, rollers and capstans. I think its a good value for what it is and would recommend it for home or auto deck use. It was probably manufactured many years ago but the packaging was still like new.
