Greyhound Subwoofer Cable
Thin, fast, and flexible! It's easy to accomplish 100% shield coverage. Preventing captured radio-frequency interference (RFI) from modulating the equipment's ground reference requires AQ's Noise-Dissipation. Traditional shield systems typically absorb and then drain noise/RF energy to component ground, modulating and distorting the critical "reference" ground plane, which in turn causes a distortion of the signal. Noise-Dissipation "shields the shield," absorbing and reflecting most of this noise/RF energy before it reaches the layer attached to the ground.

SOLID .5% SILVER CONDUCTORS FOR IMPROVED SUBWOOFER PERFORMANCE
Solid conductors eliminate strand-interaction distortion. Solid silver-plated conductors are excellent for very high-frequency applications. These signals, being such a high frequency, travel almost exclusively on the surface of the conductor. As the surface is made of high-purity silver, the performance is very close to that of a solid silver cable, but priced much closer to solid copper cable. This is an incredibly cost effective way of manufacturing very high-quality subwoofer cables.
HYPERLITZ COAX GEOMETRY
A perfect circle of eight negative conductors spiral around a single, larger positive conductor, creating a cable with a large cross-sectional area, minimizing the drawbacks of skin effect, and providing low resistance.
COLD-WELDED, GOLD-PLATED TERMINATIONS
This plug design allows for a connection devoid of solder, which is a common source of distortion. Instead of solder, the process employs a high-pressure technique. Because the ground shells are stamped instead of machined, the metal used can be chosen for low distortion instead of machinability.
FOAMED-POLYETHYLENE INSULATION
Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. Because air absorbs next to no energy and Polyethylene is low-loss and has a benign distortion profile, Foamed-PE, with its high air content, causes much less of the out-of-focus effect common to other materials.

I have a new Sony 77 inch Bravia OLED (4k) AG9 and paired this tv and all sony components with Audioquest cables, and Im very very happy I did. I bought this audioquest subwoofer cable to replace the cheap one that I got a few years back to use with my KEF home theater speakers. Its thinner, lighter, and very well made. I would recommend if your going to spend a lot on a quality TV and components, spend another 500 bucks or more and get good HDMI cables. It does actually make a difference.

Connect between Yamaha A4A & Cambridge Audio MINX X201.Good sound quality & vastile for deploy since its thin size.Remember to connect with right position, which follow the arrows on the connector, the sound will very bad if connected wrongly.

For riverside, I honestly can’t tell much different but it’s AQ. No complaint.I got a AQ carbon lightning cable that make a huge difference.

Two things stand out about this cable outside its performance: One: its price for the thin and flexible design, and two: its white jacket that looks out of place with other cables nearby. The solution I came up with is to place the Greyhound cable inside a 1/4 inch black flex tube. For the money and the name, why not something like grey or even the traditional black color jacket? Performance-wise it is tough for me to notice any different in sub performance with this $100+ cable. The greyhounds are attached to a parasound pre200 and a Definitive Tech 8 inch sub. Understand, I don't regret the buy. However, I can't in all honesty recommend shelling out that amount of cash for under 200Hz action. That said I do use Audioquest's Rocket 33 - so laugh it you must-- I do like the quality of the Rockets and the fact they are bi-wire. Try the Greyhounds if curious as I think they're returnable. I can't see myself doing a repeat purchase of the greyhounds due to the price.

Il cavo è ottimo da guardare..... Solido ma un po' sottile..... Le prese attaccano benissimo sia su l'amplificatore che il subwoofer..... Io personalmente ho speso tanti soldi nei cavi per subwoofer ne ho cambiati almeno 20 in diversi anni ma con risultati molto scarsi..... Adesso con il cavo audioquest ho risolto il problema del buon cavo..... Il suono del subwoofer è chiaro forte e bassi ultra puliti..... Nn spendete soldi inutili con cavi economici, acquistate questo cavo e rimarrete contenti.....

Nothing to dislike. Very flexible and loose not stiff cable. Reasonable price. Yes it works. Perfect length for my connectivity. Build quality high. Extremely thin cable but don't be fooled. Always read manufacturers output max voltage of a subwoofer pre out.Audioquest won't make this type of cable unless it works rigorous tests.Many pre outs are 2v at max volume if everything goes to max volume without clipping and distortion depending on calibration settings. No one listens at max volume or output. Some are 5v max, cable is still sufficient. So you will be using very low voltage carrying the audio signal. We all love thick cables minds tell us better not necessarily. To thick then the signal bounces around in the cable instead of passing at high speed correctly. Always use right size get better results.A powerd subwoofer has its own voltage amplifier.Sound depends on the subwoofer build or crossover setting Some are built for low deep. Some offer fast attack punch. Some are all rounded but don't go really low end below 20hz or certain low end.

J'ai été vraiment surpris par le diamètre (très petit) du fil. Je croyais même à une erreur. Mais j'ai fait le test entre mon ancien fil standard et ce fil Audioquest. La différence est remarquable!! Même ma conjointe qui n'est pas une "audiophile" a vue la différence. Je le recommande sans hésitation pour votre caisson de basses.Update: j’ai acheté un 2e cable pour mon recepteur cinéma maison. 100% satisfait!
