Sturdy and works well when sitting in my lounge chair in the evening. I use it all the time and would buy it again for home use ...as it is too big to fit in a pocketbook.

As a senior with somewhat failing eyesight it is difficult to silence my smoke detectors when they go off while I am cooking. Just by using this fan I can clear the air quickly and return to cooking my meal. I actually hang 3 of these fans around my house/apartment near the detectors so they are readily available. I also know they will be welcome in warmer weather and especially if the air-conditioning fails.

The fan is like a toy and flimsy at best. This will not last long if you use it as a fan.
