We are a homeschool family and this is a GREAT product as we do our studies. It's a nice tactile fun option for my 7year old that my 2 year old can join in as well and be silly with. The are very sturdy but we have lost 1 or 2 to my 2 year old "curb stomping them". The little pellets were still easy to sweep up with the vacuum so that is positive.

I work with preschoolers and I can say it is very sturdy. I have used it many times when we do circle time and even if some kids dropped their egg shaker, it didnt break. There's a variety of colors too.

I have two kids with autism, ages 4 and 8, and was looking for some sensory toys for them. These shaker eggs are a great fit for the sound sensory seeking that we have happen frequently. They are loud yet not obnoxiously so, and the size and texture is perfect for a little bit of positive input in their hands. The bag they come with isn't very good, as mine arrived with a hike in the side of it, but that was easily replaced with a dollar store plastic container. The boys get them out daily, sometimes multiple times daily, and have replaced screeching with shaking their eggs. I highly recommend them if you have a child who sells sound input regularly.

These are working well so far in music classes for kids. They make a gentle shaker sound, meaning they likely have lots of small beads inside. This is great for the sound, hopefully they don't break.They seem durable but let's see how they hold up in a few months time.I like the carrying case they came with, makes them easy to transport.UPDATE: very durable, very happy with this product!

I am surprised that these haven’t broke yet. Toddlers have thrown them (not part of the lesson plan!), and they didn’t break!
