Sizing is always the biggest concern so hopefully this helps.. My son is 13, 5'9 115lbs with about a 26" waist.. The youth large we ordered fits him good. They're short (but not nearly as short as a lot of track shorts you might get as part of a school's track jersey). Still, they're loose fitting in the leg with a runners underwear liner inside.. perfect for track meets.

I purchased these for my son for cross country. They are well made and fit the way they should. They are a thin lightweight material. I want to reassure potential buyers that these are not as short as other reviews make them sound. They are running shorts. They are supposed to ride higher up on the thigh area in order to allow runners a broader range of motion when they stride. If you purchase these for anything other than running then you may not like the length. But they work perfectly for what they are indented to do.

I was a bit wary of the fabric being too heavy because of the pictures but I was proved wrong. These shorts are perfect. Good cut for running and nice and loose, great material that was much lighter then what the pictures looked like, and the built in underwear is comfortable and secure. Im 5'3" and 110 Lbs and the larges fit perfectly.

Very short. Was trying to find some shorts that where not booty shorts but these areNot it. My daughter has island heritage so she is curves and they do fit her will but are very short.
