I bought the 3 pack,very good idea to do so, it's thicker than the average size 10 but thinner than size 8 (like artiste) I've used stainless steel crochet hook sizes 2,3,5,and 6, 2 seems to work the best,being black thread you don't want the stitches too tiny or you will never see them. I use this to crochet chokers.will buy again. :)

i just bought this yarn a few days ago for a mesh sweater im making. the thickness is great, i love the feel of it, its not like normal yarn, definitely a thread. i bought 1, 3 pack, but i definitely need more for what im making, so buying again now. and will probably end up buying again in the future if i need a thread/yarn like this.the only thing i have to mention/agree with is another review saying that the black dye does rub off on your fingers a bit. its very very faint, nothing major in my experience so far, but something to keep in mind, especially for washing. i havent washed mine yet as its still WIP, but i would definitely wash it by itself for the first few washes or til the water runs clear.

Have worked with crochet cotton, this is not size 3. This is more of a size 10. Apparently, re-labelled and wrapped. Buyer beware. If not such hassle would return, if process was easier.

The black left black marks on my fingers as I was crocheting. This is the first time I have ever had this happen with any Aunt Lydia crochet threads. Concerned that the black colour will bleed into other colours when hand washed in cold water.
