This grooming vacuum has rocketed to #1 of all of my Amazon purchases!Kiba (kEba) is a Husky / Great Pyrenees mixed-breed rescue. He’s a very good boy, but he doesn’t just shed hair balls. He sheds tumbleweed! He’s very skittish of any vacuum and left the room as soon as I removed the unit from the box. Here’s how I overcame that:1) I brushed him a few times with just the brush head, keeping the unit out of his sight.2) Next, I added the hose to the brush head and brushed him a few more times.3) I then connected the hose to the vacuum and brushed him a few times without starting the vacuum and keeping the vacuum as far as possible from the brush head. The flexible hose made that possible.4) Now, I only run the vacuum long enough to clear the brush head. I let Kiba watch the fur disappear and I make a game of it, saying, “Where’d the fur go?†He’s fascinated by the disappearing fur and seems to enjoy being brushed and having his coat thinned with the thinning attachment!Thank you, Autens, for helping to make our house and my truck free of Kiba “tumbleweedâ€!

We have one dog that we cannot take to the groomers. Anytime you leave them alone. He goes a little nuts. And also, he does not like having his haircut, so if you put the two together, it’s a bad recipe. We got this in the hopes of cutting his hair at home. It’s a pretty nice set, but I’ve never owned one before so I’m not sure how good other ones are. But it has lots of attachments that allow you to do all kinds of trimming, and with the vacuum attache, it really does suck up the hair. We tried it first on our other dog that doesn’t have a problem with the groomers and he took it like a champ. Most of the hair was able to be sucked up so we didn’t get everywhereThe skittish dog, did take it a little better since he was being held by us while we were doing it so I guess it honestly just depends on your dog., But if you’re looking to save some money. I would definitely recommend it. It’s a lot cheaper than taking your dog to the groomers, especially one who’s going to waste your money!

Very happy with this product and it works much better than I expected for a consumer version. I'm able to groom our dog with the same equipment the professionals use. I need a lot more practice on the clippers. My dog looks like he was buzzed with the lawn mower ha, but I'm sure I'll get better with more practice. My only complaint (and it's my fault now that I'm paying closer attention to the listing) is that the vacuum needs to be plugged into power. The clippers are rechargeable but the vacuum is not. I initially thought the entire set ran on batteries. No biggie, just calling it out in case you miss it like I did...

This has been such a great tool to use while grooming my dog. It sucks up majority of the hair and keep the space clean. Isn’t super loud so doesn’t scare my dog. Trims really well and has awesome attachments

This 6 on 1 vacuum set makes giving your dog a haircut a little simpler. The vacuum is electric so it has to be plugged in to use it. All the attachments work without cords. My dog isn’t happy with vacuums and this one isn’t much different. He’s very nervous around it, and won’t let me do long intervals on him. But that’s been him since he was a pup.As far as the vacuum and all the attachments, the product is very well made and sturdy. My favorite attachment is the brush and once the brush is full of hair, one push of a button and the hair is removed from the brush and sucked through the opening into the body of the vacuum. The canister of the vacuum comes apart and is easily emptied. This vacuum is like a professionals, and I’ve enjoyed using it on my boy.

Where has home grooming vacuum's been and why did it take so long for someone to perfect this. I love my fur baby. But he is also a fur monster. I end up having to vacuum everywhere constantly because he leaves hair everywhere. But instead of vacuuming a whole house every day--I just vacuum him every night before bed. The unit is very quiet and my dog tolerates it well. He now expects the nightly routine of come and sit and get vacuumed and you get a treat.

I LOVE this grooming vacuum. It works great and has multiple attachments. It makes it helps keep the fur to a minimum and I am not having so much fur all over the place after grooming him as I used to, plus since it is a vacuum you can easily grab any stray furs. I seriously can not say enough good things about this. It made it SO much easier to groom my dog and was extremely easy to use. The clipper part came fully charged, which was good. But the on switch turns on super easily, even when I just put it back in to the box it turned on by barely even being touched, also it was on when I went to pick up the package from the front office of my park, so who knows how long it was running for before that. When I was grooming my dog I did keep hitting the power button by accident so it would be nice if it had a way to lock the power button so it wasn't so easy to hit. It also would have been nice if it came with a case to put all the pieces in, they are just loose and I ended up putting them in a reusable shopping bag for now.

I found that this kit is pretty great for grooming my dogs. While it doesn't suck up 100% of the fur, it still does a pretty great job and helps to keep the mess to a minimum. Comes with several attachments for different fur lengths and I really like the shedding brush tool, makes grooming between cuts really easy. If you have dogs that require frequent trimmings and de-shedding, this is a solid option.

5 out of 5 Stars (5)âââââ[TL;DR][QUALITY] (5/5)[VALUE] (5/5)[EASE OF USE] (5/5)[MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5)[PACKAGING] (5/5)[REVIEW REMARKS]We ordered this vacuum for the pet brush attachment. We do not currently have any need for the clippers as all of our fur babies are short haired and do not require trimming. This unit is really quiet functioning. Our Aussie Cattle Dog (ACD) is suspect of anything new. This includes toys, grooming tools, treats, beds...you get the idea. So, we introduce things slowly and get creative with our approach. With this vacuum, the intention was using it to de-fur our ACD to mitigate the amount of his hair that is required to be vacuumed from furniture, floors, and carpets. Also, being that it is summer, we wanted to make sure his coat was not too heavy and contribute to discomfort caused by the heat. With utter shock, he took to the vacuum almost immediately. I ran the brush over MY arms and chest and when I saw he was interested, I asked him if he wanted me to give him a brushing. The operation of the vacuum is not overly loud and it does not seem to bother his ears. I was able to vacuum him until the canister was not showing any more hair coming off. That is a lot of hair! It does not eliminate vacuuming the floors and furniture regularly, but the amount of wayward hair has been mitigated. To keep him interested, I use the vacuum weekly and he seems to enjoy it. Please note, not all animals are wired the same and my experience may not be similar to others. However, with a natural born skeptic for a K9 companion, I will take the win.The other attachments are super handy for quick trimmings and touch ups. The mess is sucked up into the cannister and there is not a lot of additional cleanup required. As I said, our doggo is short haired, but he has a double coat. The brush grooming is perfect for our needs, but it is good to have the cutting tools in case we can assist a friend or neighbour with a loaner, if in desperate need. All in all, this is a quiet functioning vacuum that is easy on your pet's ears. I find this to be the best feature of this product. Our dog loves getting his grooming done and there has been zero fuss made since the first introduction. Patience may be required to get your pet used to the machine, but this is to be expected. From a value standpoint, having a pet grooming kit on hand is never a bad decision. Overtime, I am certain that this grooming tool will provide a decent return, both financially and by allowing us to groom our pets without the need of a regular third party grooming. Some groomers are terrific, but others may not be patient enough with seemingly difficult animals.Recommended based on quality, completeness of the attachments, quiet functioning (in comparison to others), and because it allows my Wife and I and bond with our doggo and build trust by providing comfort during grooming sessions in a familiar environment. Highly recommended. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

Both of my dogs allowed me to use this on them though it did take me some convincing of one of my pups. He doesn't usually mind the vacuum as long as it doesn't impede on his personal space. I have two Alaskan Klee Kai, so mini huskies, and they shed a ton when shedding their winter or summer coats. I love that this offered different attachment brushes to do what you need and they all seemed to work great on their coats. The thing to note which can be a little confusing at first, upon using the attachments to groom your pet, it collects the fur a bit on the brush and sucks the fur into the hose and then you press a button to suction the fur in the vacuum drum. There is also a nozzle-like tool attachment that you can use either on your dog or the furniture. The vacuum has a pretty long cord and a very flexible hose making it easy to vacuum their coat with ease which is great! There are also grooming tools too, which is awesome, but my pups don't need those. But there are an assortment of tools to use for trimming and grooming your pet and looks like you would have everything you need. The vacuum is also pretty lightweight which is great so you can easily move it where needed without struggle. In terms of sound, the motor is pretty quiet and not too loud which is awesome, as I know many dogs are not a fan of super loud noises, especially vacuums. Also, this can be used as a regular vacuum as well and the drum that collects the fur and debris is a pretty decent size, so you can collect a lot of fur before needing to empty the drum and it is very easy to empty it.My only complaint as with a bunch of vacuums is I wish the suction was just a bit more powerful. But then again I wouldn't want the suction to be so strong, that it would hurt my pups upon using it. But I do think it could be a tad more stronger in terms of suction. Overall though, this vacuum will do a great job at collecting the shedding fur on your pets and provide less of a clean-up of fur around the house. In terms of price, its pretty comparable to others out there and a bit cheaper than some options.
