Your cart is empty. The lifeblood of any performance engine is it oil. Oil serves to lubricate all moving parts in the engine from the crankshaft to the valve springs and the lifters. Most tuners drive their cars hard; thus, have to change the oil often to avoid any harmful oil contaminants from damaging the engine internals. Oil filter relocation kits allow quicker oil changes since it relocates oil filters to a location that is easier to reach. There will be no more laying on your back, trying to reach up behind the block to remove the oil filter. The oil filter relocation kit will also allow tuners to use a larger oil filter than the stock, increasing the oil capacity of the engine, thereby increasing the oil protection of the engine internals.

This is a good quality kit at a good price...But the remote filter mount is very small- only suitable for smaller engine filters with a 2-3/4" diameter gasket. Not suitable for larger V6/V8 engines- unless you intend to change the filter every 6K miles.

The kit needs hydraulic hoses for it instead of barbed and clamped hose that need to be cut to length. That way they can hold the pressure from the oil pump.

I bought this to move my oil filter from my new long tube header so if you try to do that on a v8 dont it dosent fit unless u do what I did and cut the tips in half also the clip that comes to hold the bolt In was so weird i had to just cut a small peace off wedge it in and then beat it with a hammer for it would stop falling off still dont have it completely on figuring a way to make it curve past the headers now

If you buy this do NOT use the hoses or the barbs that this comes with. Switch to AN fittings before installing. I'm an ASE certified mechanic with a degree in automotive. It was installed correctly. However when the provided lines break at 6000 rpm I now need a new engine.
