i actually purchased a new one thinking old was on the fritz, temp pegging hot when stock gauge said it wasn’t ended up being. oil contamination on sending unit wire connection

Nice expensive gauge but it does not work. Similar driving conditions give different readings all over the scale from one day to the next. Unfortunately I waited about 4 weeks after purchase before I had time to install this gauge and another week went by while I pondered the odd readings so I was not able to return it for exchange. Very disappointed with the gauge.
