Not quite as aggressive as I usually end up needing, in the Wyoming area, but they work out fine for lighter snow. The size chart worked out for selecting the size for my tires. The construction is decent, but for the price, just shy of $80, as of the time of this review, they're on par for the money. To be fair, my other set was much more expensive, but much more capable. I would consider the severity of your intended climate, before deciding on the type of snow chains you may need. If this set will work for you (2"-4"), then you'll be fine. I recommend this product for climates that get less than 4" of snow at a time, on average. They're not bad. Just not for everywhere.

I needed a set of chains for my Dodge 2500 diesel truck for NW Montana. I decided to give these a go. I couldn't be happier!! A few days after I received them we got a week of snow then weather down to 0 Fahrenheit which meant a ton of snow and ice. I threw these on my truck in less than 2 minutes on the first tire. Super easy to figure out after watching the short how to video provided. The second tire took much less time. I used these up my mile long dirt road than on the highway, couldn't be happier with their traction!! Permanent part of my winter kit in my truck! If I used my car during the winter I'd be purchasing a set for it!

Okay I like these chains.The last ones I had were much harder to install. Remember, these will almost certainly have to but installed when you're stuck. And the last ones I had were a nightmare to install. These, while still not exactly fun to put on in inclement weather, are easier and unlike the last set I had, keep themselves tight to the tire automatically.The last set I had did NOT do that and one ended up loosening to the point it caused damage to the underside of my SUV. On my Expedition, they are flawless.We had a snowstorm a few weeks back and I was going nowhere until I put these chains on the back end of my truck. After that, I was able to make it in to an important city job.Just be sure to keep it under the posted maximum speed limit for these chains.Overall, impressive performance and to be honest, for what they provide, a great value.
