Good value for the price. Easy to install and does its job admirably. The sticker fell off in hours, but the unit itself has held up pretty well over the course of the past 5-10 years (or however many it's been now).

After my GM installed deflector finally cracked while pushing snow out of it, I began the search for a new one. The original lasted about 18 years, so that's pretty darn good. I found the AVS Bugflector at Amazon and read the reviews. It looked pretty good and was less costly than a branded GM replacement, so I gave it a try. It was easy to install. No holes to drill. They were already in the shade and lined up properly on the underside of the hood. It's been doing great. I'd say that I hope it lasts 18 years also, but frankly, I don't want to find out. I would be in my '90s and most likely not driving!Based on the performance of the product thus far, I would recommend it.

I ordered This shade as a replacement for the original on the truck. Is a little shorter than original, but still looks good and installed in about 10 minutes.

I ordered the bug deflector hood shield for my 2002 GMC Sierra. This new hood shield was ordered to replace the one (different brand) that I had on the truck for years which had broken at both corners. It was delivered three days after ordering. It arrived in good condition. The hood shield came with written instructions. It took me under 15 minutes to remove the old and install the new bug deflector. It fits and looks good on my truck. Thus far no issues. It came with a self adhesive brand label which received one star for adhesion because but it only stayed on for about two days. This is okay since I really like the look without it. Otherwise I rated the other categories five stars and highly recommend 4Wheeldrive Hardware.

Fit beautifully, going to keep those rock chips at bay. Only issue is it came with only 3 clip and 3 screws when 4 are needed, The trip to the hardware store fixed that.

The GM deflector shield that came with my truck finally bit the dust this year - cracked for reasons unknown, but I wanted to replace it. New GM shields are no longer available for this model and year, so I began looking for an aftermarket shield that would fit my truck. I found this on Amazon, and I couldn't be happier. I ordered it on 3/1, and it was delivered less than 2 days later ON A SUNDAY (3/3)! I held it up to the truck, and it looked as if it would line-up exactly where the original had been. The weather finally broke, and I was able to wash and wax the truck without creating an iceskating rink in front of the garage. When I went to install the new shield, I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only was this a perfect fit, but the holes lined-up exactly and I was even able to use the original hood inserts. It took about 5 minutes to actually install the shield, but much longer to wash the salt and dirt off the truck and give it a fresh coat of wax. The Bugflector Shield is a quality item, made in the USA by a reputable firm. The price was right, and Amazon's delivery time exceeded my expectations. Buying online doesn't get better than this.

Clean the area where the adhesive strip will contact with the alcohol wipe only. Easy to install and looks good on my 99 GMC Sierra.
