I bought this for my 1999 OBS Tahoe. I am highly impressed with the quality. It came with screws and little bumper pieces to stick on the hood, but it sits far enough away that I don’t think it would ever come in contact with it. I just had my hood painted so I wanted to protect it, it looks perfect on my car.I did not feel the need to use the screws or stick-on bumpers. The adhesive is great, I don’t foresee it coming off even if I wanted it to. The kit comes with alcohol wipes but I instead used a fresh cloth and a bottle of alcohol, the surface needs to be as clean as possible for good adhesion.This is the “medium profile†and I think it is absolutely perfect. I would not hesitate to buy another.

It's looks awesome ,but I did like how they wanted it mounted ,it would be about two inch gap between hood and bug shield ,so I moved it in closer cause besides gape that far out ,I think would make it very easy for wind to cracked shield .I moved shield about inch closer but by doing this,the shield hit the mounting tabs on grill when closing, which is easily solved by notching few spaces in shield to allow those to miss,also this does not affect look. I drilled a few more mounting screw holes to catch under lip of hood .I think looks great how over lays fenders so all in all ,just a little modification for a awesome look. I give it 5 stars.plus if doing by yourself long nose vice grips are a major help.mine was put on 1989 Chevy k-1500 ,I know newer mid 90s model have different grill shape so this problem maybe just on earlier model pick-ups so keep that in mind,but have had on for several months now and looks as good as day came outta package.

Use it for my vehicles the only thing was that the way it was molded was about a 2 inch notch out on 2X 1 inch notched out on the hood element but besides that looks good and it seems to hold up nicely
