Working principle: When the surface of the water tower or the pool falls, the float in the valve chamber sinks. Use the orifice rod to open the pilot hole of the control valve. Lift up, press the joystick to close the pilot hole, the valve cavity begins to fill with water, and then close the control valve. The sealing surface of the control valve immediately stops water supply.

The product is a liquid level control valve.
After installation, the float must be vertical. If you need to install from the top, you need an elbow to connect the float valve and the inlet line. First, fix the water inlet pipe on a horizontal surface, and then connect the automatic water level control valve to the water inlet according to the standard.
The main water inlet should be aligned with the normal diameter of the control valve.
When in use, the shut-off valve should be fully opened.
If two valves are installed in the same tank, they should be kept at the same height.
Before installation, please clean the impurities in the pipeline to prevent blockage.
If the water quality is not good, the valve needs to be properly maintained.
If the user finds that the time for adding water becomes longer, he can upload the water inlet and rinse

Just what I needed to add an auto-fill and shut-off for my outdoor fountain. I hooked it into my irrigation drip line and through a bulkhead fitting to mount it inside the fountain reservoir. I chose the top mounted design so I can adjust the mount height later without additional drilling.Water fill was fast and the valve shut off perfectly and without any leaks or drips. Only quibble is that I wished there were some marking or indicator on the outside to show the shutoff water level but it was not a show stopper.Only time will tell how long this lasts. But since it's mounted on the inside and away from direct sunlight and elements, it should last a long time.

I bought this to use on my outdoor waterfall so that I didn't have to manually fill it due to evaporation, etc. It works perfectly with a little pvc pipe plumbing and a short water hose.

Similar to the latest reviewer. Used it on a small Fountain. My wife and I argued all the time about who last filled the fountain or if they did. Here in Reno with 10% humidity in the Summer we had to fill it 4-6 times during the day. We turned it off when we weren't home and at night. Put in an outdoor switch and conduit to a concrete pad that the fountain sits on . We dismantle it in the Winter. Now with this float switch and 1/4" line fed from a "Y" on my hose bib filling is automatic. I also put in a small plastic globe valve near the fountain to turn off the water supply there. Like the previous reviewer I wish there was a mark on the valve casing showing where the water on/off level was. Trial and error was no big deal though.

I am a verified purchaser of this, but I waited a year to do a review, just to make sure! I’m here to tell you that this thing is legit. It has been auto filling my pool without a hiccup since I bought it a year ago. our pool is a UV filtered chlorine pool. This valve has withstood the chlorine and the Florida elements, including a deep freeze last winner and it’s still going.
