I should have bought one of these years ago. Been chasing vacuum leaks on my F-250 forever. Who knows how many parts I have replaced when I didn't need to. This product is super easy to use. It wasn't expensive when I figure how fast I was able to find leaks in my intake and vacuum lines. It's well built. Works as described. I found four leaks within minutes. And has my truck running way better the next morning. I hesitated buying this but I avoided taking my truck to a shop and was even able to replace a part in actually didn't need to replace. I had misdiagnosed no idle air control valve when it was a vacuum leak nearby it.

I've used quite a variety of these smoke testers over the years, so I feel quite qualified to recommend this one to any DIYer or price-conscious mechanic. It does everything any other smoke machine I've used does, and then some. No air supply is necessary, since it uses its own internal electric pump. The pump is sort of loud, but not annoyingly. My Powerscale M1's pump is louder, I believe. The flow meter works great at regulating the flow of smoke, and it's a very important feature to have. I've had smoke machines without adjustable flow valves, and they have a habit of producing so much pressure that they blow lines off and cause new leaks. The included accessories are all of excellent quality so far as I can tell. The only additional thing you need is some mineral oil which only costs a few bucks at any drugstore.I really don't have any complaints about this. Seems like a pretty solid smoke tester. Well built, well accessorized, and well priced. Buy it!

Easy to setup, especially if you have experience with smoke machines. Good smoke pressure makes diagnosis straightforward. Wish all smoke machines were like this one. Love the color, too.
