I gotta atleast give this two stars because it does display the picture on my screen without problem, but the sound quality is horrible! For some reason, whenever I am using this device, if there is no sound from the game I am playing (there is a silent moment, no shooting, etc) I get this weird background noise. At first, it is a kind of static, but then it sounds like a chromatic scale starting from the lowest audible note and going to the highest. And it repeats. I know that this is a problem with this device because when I use my usual cables that came with my PS3 there is no problem. The sound that this device makes is very annoying. I have told you the facts about what happens when I use this device, so it is up to you to decide whether to buy this or not. In my opinion, it was a waste of money and I wish I could return it. It works but is of a build quality comparable to that of a 3 year old trying to impeccably imitate a tight rope walker.

I bought this cable because I wanted higher resolution for my PS2. I tested the composite cables that came with the PS2 versus this one, and the results were great. The PS2 was much crisper with this cable than the standard composite cable. Mind you, it's not HDMI but it was still better. There are component cables for PS2 that would have even better resolution; however, I read that the component cable does not work well with new TVs. New TVs have component Y/Pr/Pb but the old component was Y/Cr/Cb. I have read that they don't always work, which is why I went with the svideo cable. The cable plugs were a little right but fit well. Great product!

It works perfect on my Play Station 2. I would get this because it doesn't cause the inside part to break like all the other ones. This cord should last a long time. It has so far for me.

this product is so cheap u need to be really careful when plugin in the svideo connection pins bend with so little forceoverall what else can you get with a analog cablebest picture for psx

Simple old school cable I wanted to use in order to connect my old Nintendo 64 to my tv. Works like a charm!
