We got rid of our black plastic utensils when we heard they put unhealthy particles into the environment. These work great, are reasonably sturdy and work well on our cast iron pans.

I really like these, they work great. I like that they are basic, but effective. The only thing I wish was different, is the edges on the handle can feel a little sharp, especially when stirring. Kinda uncomfortable on hands.
