Keep track of keys for your home, office and more with Avery metal rim key tags with split rings. Each round tag is lined with a durable metal rim that maintains the shape of the tag and helps protect it from tears, folds and everyday wear and tear. These multipurpose tags are also a useful way to add flair to gifts, organize assets and sort accessories. The cardstock in the center of each round paper tag is writable on both sides for easy handwriting and better visibility. The smooth matte surface is compatible with ballpoint pens, roller pens, gel pens, permanent markers and pencils. The white cardstock is cut from a sturdy 13pt paper card material. Along with being great key identification tags, these tags are also great as small luggage tags, gift tags and tags for craft supplies. Each tag includes a metal split ring so that they can be quickly hooked into key rings. The split rings can also be easily removed so that you can use your own string, yarn or ribbons with the prepunched hole.

I have a few keys that I use occasionally that I needed to label so I could tell them apart. These were perfect for that use. I would not use them for everyday keys that are banging around in my pocket like car keys or house keys, because they're a little flimsy for that.

You can write on the key tab what door it is for. Also great for identifying multiple power cords or other cords. Easy to use. Write on them with pen or pencil.

These key tags are well made and perfect for keeping order on the key rack! Never again fumble through your keys to figure out which little key fits the old storage trunk and which is for the file cabinet. Ample writing space and a sturdy ring. I use these tags for many things. Mainly for organizing all my bags. I have lots of computer and electronic stuff that I store in bags mainly case logic bags. Things like computer cables, hard drives, routers, external DVD burners, audio video cables, laptop bags (I have multiple laptops in same looking bags)... lots of things and a lot of my bags look alike. I have many dozens that sit on my book shelves. I am sort of a OCD organizing nut. Either way each bag I use to help distinguish by putting different color string but after dozens and dozens of different color strings you start to forget which is what. Especially if you have multiple identical external hard drives that you need to then plug each one in to remember what files are on which drives. These work great for that they clip onto the zipper for each bag/case.Then I started to use them to label outlets on my power strip for my computer setups as well as home theater system. I have these huge surge protectors that have 7 or 8 plugs in each of them and labeling the ends with these help me determine which one I need to unplug to move things around or replace things. Very annoying when you have your head in a TV cabinet and have to do the old unplug and check test.I've also used these to label my water shut off valves for front and back of my house etc.I'm sure there are many more uses that I have not thought of yet but the possibilities are endless.only con for my uses is that on certain plugs the cables are too thick and the skinny metal ring does get bent easily. I fixed this by using the Velcro ties that you can get here on amazon really cheap. Made for organizing cables. Cheap, affordable and reusable.
