I use these labels on metal garden markers out in the garden. As I've got close to 400 cultivars of conifers, and almost 100 cultivars of Japanese maples, it helps my aging brain to not have to remember all of them. I wanted something that would stand the test of time outside. I thought about permanent markers, but they fade after a season in the sun. And I tried scratching into metal plate tags, but they fade and become unreadable after a few years as well. I decided I needed a longer-lasting, and easier to work with, solution. I needed a good-sized garden marker for these, and wound up with the Bosmere K466 20-pack. Perfect fit. And it lets me have enough room on the label for about 3 good-sized lines of text, onto which I can include the genus, species, and cultivar name rather handily. And so far, these things have withstood sun, rain, cold, and hot. I'm quite pleased with their longevity.

These work the best of any labels for my uses... they don't smudge and they do not tear and they have an exceptionally strong adhesive. So far they're the only labels that stick fast to my food saver bags... of course they have to be applied prior to filling them and freezing. The only criticism I have is either Amazon --or the vendor that supplies them-- sometimes fails to put the labels in a box or envelope for shipping. Simply applying a shipping label to the off-the-shelf package means they arrived frayed, creased or wrinkled. When damaged, they are not suitable to run thru a laser printer. Fortunately, they will replace, but it seems silly to send a product like that thru the mail without packing it properly.

Very professional looking once they are printed. Look great on things that need to be labeled.

This was exactly as advertised. One issue I had was two sheets got stuck in my HP laser printer feeder.

I raised 300 plants from seed this year and ended up putting these labels on plastic cups in a vertical orientation because the new cup design prevented me from putting them on horizontally like I had always done before. That turned out to be a great thing. When I removed the plant from the cups to plant them I had a great idea:Cut the cup from top to bottom along the both edges of the labels with a pair of scissors and then cut the bottom side into a "V". Voila now you have a weatherproof plastic plant tag that is neatly labeled and hopefully will last all growing season.

Ink does not come off when placed under water. For those who complain it is not waterproof, maybe you are not selecting Label as type of paper when printing, or your printer's ink/toner is not compatible. This Label is not oil resistant, essential oils will rub right off so that is why I did not give it 5 stars. I wish they would make it oil resistant too. Same with the 5523 Labels that I ordered.

We use these labels for so many things. Easy to peel, compatible with many printers. We use it at home and at work. They don’t peel off because they are thick and the adhesive stays in place. Great value.

These are great water/weatherproof labels. Been using them for over a year and they have never come off where I placed them.
