This is a robust watertight container thatʻs roomy enough to store todayʻs large phones, plus a fat wallet, and a set of keys with car fob and still have room left over for maybe a second set. The plastic is thick, the hinge pin is metal, and there is no flex to it when closed. I got this to protect my phone and other items when kayaking or stand-up-paddleboarding. For a quick test I put a wad of paper towels in it and held it underwater in the pool and everything was dry when I took it out. You can attach a strap to one end to secure it and the bottom is a nice bright yellow for visibility while the top is frosted just enough so that you can see what you put in it but less obvious to the casual observer. Donʻt know if it would hold up to the same abuse as the big brands, but itʻs more than adequate for my use and a bargain for what you get.

I wish the door was truly transparent and not frosted. The bright yellow is not necessary either. I will use this to protect a tablet and hot spot. There is room inside for both of these devices.

I was surprised at the quality and the durability of this box. It is sturdy, strong, and extremely well made. It is as good as they come.The reason I got it was to take to the beach when we go this winter. I am always leery of leaving our phones and car keys behind when we take a walk down the beach with no one to keep an eye on our stuff. This is perfect for what we will use it for -- to store our phones and car keys and any other valuables and then bury it in the sand where it will be hidden from view.The fastening clips are strong and tight, and the seal is perfect for the beach. If I were a kayaker, it would be great for keeping valuables dry.I am also a geocacher, and this box would be ideal for a cache container located out in the forest. It would hold up well in the elements and keep the logbook and swag dry, which is important in geocaching. I can hide this in a hollow log or at the base of a tree and the elements would have no impact on the contents. Most geocaches are in the elements for years, so this would be an excellent choice for a container that would not be damaged by the weather.Overall, this is a multi-use container, perfect for any outdoor activities. It looks like it will hold up under severe conditions, which is exactly what I need it for. It is a quality item.
