I just put some gravel down and poored this right on top. I will put some lose quick set powder inbetween and sprinkle with water to help keep in place. It served well, I wanted a walk way for cheap and it looks nice.

Molds are sturdy; I did the sidewalk shown in the photos, and I could probably do a hundred more without having to toss them. I did not use spray or anything similar, and concrete did not stick to them. I did wash them with water thoroughly and often. Be aware though; if you are using these to build a walkable path, you will have to do something else to keep the individual small concrete blocks from shifting and moving when walking on them. Since the divisions in the molds go all the way from top to bottom, the bricks left behind are not connected to each other. I knew this before I bought them, and spread a slurry of mortar in the cracks to keep them in place. For me, they were exactly what I expected.

Easy to use. Just need to know your ratio. We used 1 80lb bag of quick set concrete to mix and use the pair of forms to get 3 sets of squares. Consistency was on the soupy side for easier troweling, working the material into the corners and edges. After several minutes, slightly raise each corner to release, then raise the form slowly and allow material to firm up in order to trowel to achieve the desired final finish.

I took the idea from another reviewer and bought this to stamp concrete I wanted to pour . I dint not use it to make individual squares. As I finished my concrete and when the concrete was ready, not soft anymore but obviously not set . tapped the molds on the concrete and the picture is the final product once the concrete set .

Works well... make sure you prep the work place as if you are placing regular pavers... I used weed cloth then gravel then the paver base panel then leveling sand... I also used paver edging to make sure it stays in place then filled the cracks with polymeric sand... what I did is not needed but I like the feeling of knowing what I put down will last years to come... using these molds allows you a huge margin of error when doing DIY

We poured a walk made of concrete and used the molds as stamps, planning on using a acid stain soon as it cools off a little. Really turned out great. First time doing this.

Very solid but still flexible. Love the versatility it gives me when I use the mold for specific designs.
