Super Thin and See Through Material...comes folded with a bunch of creases (so thin that I was afraid to iron it in fear that it would melt onto or burn my ironing board). I was not able to use this for my fish tank as it defeated the purpose of being able to provide a nice background, the material is SUPER thin almost transulent, image was very faded and nearly impossible to adhere to the back of any fish tank.

Nice fish tank background. I looked for a 50 gallon background and found the nicest one and it fits perfect. The piece is a material that allows the light to gently shine through unlike some of the hard plastic sheets, which creates a nice soft glow. The background came folded in an envelop and I ironed the piece like the directions suggested to get the wrinkles out. Some of the folds did not completely come out but they can not be seen once it is applied. It comes with four tabs of double backed tape so you can smooth the piece into place. AND the price is a bargain. In summary; very happy with my purchase.

It comes folded and fold marks must be pressed out. Does not reflect light well. It is just not visually appealing, and I am expecting to see on aquarium.It is a thin polyester fabric, thinner than a T-shirt. I would recommend vinyl, or another background material.

Edit - I was able to use this with HOB filters with no issues. Because it hangs on the back instead of adhering to the glass you can’t see tte design very well, but I find I like the colorations better than the design.***As a FYI - this is a polyester cloth designed to hang on the back of the tank, not adhere to it. The cloth is well made and the print quality is great. You use double sided tape to tape it to the aquarium. While they include double sided tape, there was not enough strips for a 48 inch wide one.I personally can not use it because of my hang on the back filters. Visually you can’t get it to lay flat with a HOB filter. There will be ripples

I like the realism of the picture. I like the quality of the material and it was easy to cut for the size of my tank. It stuck to the tape as instructed.

I was a little worried about some of the negative reviews but I must say I am very happy with my purchase. We had to wet iron it and let it sit for a couple hours. But 3 hours after I got it we had it mounted to the back of our tank and it looks amazing. Pictures don’t do it justice. The extra after doing my 85 was enough to also do my 10 gallon hospital tank too. We did end up using tape which worked better than what it came with.

My fault for not reading all the way but this is a cloth background. Colors are not as bright as picture shows. It looks ok but I’m returning it. It’s just not what I expected and I’m really disappointed.
