My generator wouldn't start. Helena on its way. I replaced carb kit and was prepared when lights went out. Easy to replace using cheap kit. Worked as it should.

I used this carb on a portable generator. It was very easy to install and there was no need to make any adjustments or modifications. It worked perfectly right out of the box.

Fit perfect on my Generac GP7500E generator. 4 stars instead of 5 because they didn't ship the gaskets. I had to source them elsewhere. Hit the switch and she fired right up! I only used the carburetor, fuel line & spark plug. The gas filter & air filter seem a little cheap. My generator didn't come with an inline gas filter & it would be very difficult to install because of the length of the fuel line. The air filter is not like the OEM air filter and is just a single piece of foam. Overall very worth the price though and shipping was FAST!

The carburetor started leaking gasoline after brief period of successful usage (but beyond the 30 day return period). The leak was caused by the float valve sticking in the OPEN position so gasoline continued flowing into (and out of) the bowl once the bowl was filled. This was not caused by fuel left in the carburetor because the motor was run dry after use by closing the petcock. It appears that the float valve is poorly designed compared to original equipment and/or poorly manufactured as it does not move smoothly in its brass sleeve. Ridges on the metal sliding valve part that make contact with the brass sleeve have a rough surface. This is the only part of the carburetor design where critical tolerances are needed for the valve to slide smoothly to open and shut in response to the float. Unfortunately PAN300 failed in this case.

Took it out of the box and bolted it on and she fired right up.
