I got my 5 year old grandson one of these suitcases when he was 2, he is now 5 years old and now that he has a 3 year old brother they fight over the suitcase so Grami decided he needs one of his own. He packs his toys in it to come to Grami's house. They both love them wheather they pack clothes or toys or just riding on it. Great buy.

The one light is completely broken. It arrived that way but I ordered it right before a trip with no time to return it. This suitcase was great for my 3 year old. He took rides on it through the airport as well at the Airbnb, it was like his little scooter at home but also his suitcase. Would buy again, even though the light is broke.

This is such a cute suitcase! I recently decided to get my toddler his first suitcase and when I saw this one I immediately had to get it. I had no idea they made kids suitcases this adorable and it even has lights and sound! We're planning to travel to the other side of the world so I was looking into the very expensive Stokke ones so I could pull my toddler through the large airports. I ended up seeing this one and also how reasonably priced it is, so I went with this instead. We tested it out at home and our son just loves sitting on the suitcase asking us to pull him around the house. That said, I'm not sure how long the suitcase would last if you are really using it frequently through large airports worldwide. I say this because it isn't really built sturdy like adult suitcases where the wheels and the suitcase itself can withstand some impact, bumpy surfaces, concrete pathways, thick carpeted areas, etc. You just don't know what type of surfaces you'll get when traveling to other airports worldwide, or even within the US. The wheels aren't smooth or flexible like "real" suitcases. While I really like this suitcase I would say this seems more like a toy that happens to be a suitcase than a suitcase built to look like a toy, if that makes any sense.I like that the suitcase opens from the side, you can use the fish key to lock and unlock. Inside the luggage there is space to put your child's belongings. It even has a strap that will keep some of the clothes held down so it isn't strewn about throughout the suitcase. There is a strap with two hooks on the end and you can hook them in two different ways - entirely on one side, or one on each side so you (the adult) can carry it on your shoulder.The lights and sound on the cat does require batteries so make sure to prepare some extra batteries in case it runs out of juice after frequent use. It did arrive with batteries already so my toddler played with it immediately.Overall I think this is a very cute and great suitcase for a toddler and I don't regret getting it at all. There were some cons but I think this is a great suitcase for something like sleeping over at grandma's, road trip where there will be no airplane flights, or if there is a flight it is at a small airport. It doesn't look and feel like it is built durable enough for going through large airports where there is a lot of walking from terminal to terminal, perhaps even a train ride or two to get to your terminal. I'm still unsure if I want to make this the suitcase for sleeping over at grandma's or if I want to test it out by bringing this with us on an international trip through several large airports worldwide. I did find this reasonably priced when I got it so it isn't the end of the world if it breaks. I still recommend this suitcase and if they come out with more than one animal/design I will probably get more. I would give this 5 stars if this is to be a suitcase for one night at grandma's but since I have to see the big picture and consider different scenarios for using, it gets 4 stars.

My four year old used this on our trip going from Washington State to New York. He loved riding it through the airports and the sounds and light up eyes entertained him during our layovers. It held his jacket and five sets of clothes with a little extra room (just enough for a new teddy bear to come home).

I bought two for our granddaughters, one is 3YO and the other is 7YO. The 3YO LOVED IT!!! Not the 7YO! It's held up REALLY well and she uses it all the time.

Ok after several trips I can tell the actual performance of this suitcase for toddlers:Pros:- Extremely spacious, you can fit 1 week+ clothes for a toddler/kid there, i even snuck some of my underwear.- Light but super durable- The cat eyes light up and makes sounds so entertains the kids a lot on the lines.Cons:-If you are in a hurry, trust me, the last thing you want is your toddler ridding this thing, it does not handle well.-there is no place for you toddler to rest their feet so they have to ride this with their feet hanging, so understandably after a while your toddler will get tired and drop his/her feet and make the thing go sideways or fall. Again, not super wide so they will fall at higher speeds than very chill walking speed.Overall its a great luggage for kids. For the sturdiness and riding capability its a great price and value.
