The ad description says "Beige... Burlap". When I ordered them, it said "Linen": Burlap implies a very course material. These are not course. Linen is what I got.I used the back of the curtain loops on a fairly hefty curtain rod. They do stretch to their full 52" with this method; yet pleat to about 7" on the rod when pulled back. For this bay window, they'll only be pulled closed at night in cold weather. I do think they help keep the room warmer.Linen seems a good choice for white or off-white walls and wood trim. The color choices would be hard to match to other colors in the room - especially just going by how colors look on a computer display.

Very nice - true to size advertised, works well, but surprisingly isn't that heavy. The fabric looks and feels nice; the print on it is a subtle touch that works really well for my bedroom, so that's cool. Easy to wash, easy to install. I'm very happy with these curtains.

My son's room is in the sun for most of the day, and it is especially light in the room before he wakes up. After using blackout curtains at a hotel stay, I got these to test it in his room.These curtains are not high-end, but they are indeed very dark when closed. The length is very nice and helps with any leakage from around the window.The first night, my son woke up and told me that they work great: He slept deeper and longer, and got up much more rested. He likes the way they look as well.I really like these, and will likely order another set for my own bedroom.

Definitely not as described does not look like a linen curtain at all.Very cheap looking, although it's probably a 100% black out.I wouldn't put them on my window!

I was really hoping for high-quality blackout curtains, but these were disappointing. They’re made of polyester, not the luxurious linen look I was expecting. They also don’t provide real noise cancellation or thermal insulation. If you’re looking for true blackout, these aren’t it.

These are beautiful linen-look for the price. They look heavy, but are easy to hang and washed well since they're polyester. These do not blackout your room entirely due to being lined in a light color material, but they do darken the room significantly, which is all I was looking for.

Love these. I measured it perfectly. They are true to length. Very soft and made with good quality products. I haven’t washed them yet so I’m not sure how they will hold up. But they are black out curtains. I would definitely buy these again just in a different color.
