My first child had a Baby Deedee sleep sack that he used for several months. We really liked it, but alas, he was a terrible sleeper and after 6 months or so, we resorted to co sleeping so the baby stopped using sleep sacks. My second baby turned out to be a fantastic sleeper, who, at 7 weeks, transitioned to the size small Baby Deedee passed down from big brother, and has slept soundly in it since then, and transferred to a size medium at 4.5 months, being a tall baby. The size small was well loved between two babies, several months each, and survived lots of spit up and leaky diapers. It's so easy to wash, and the fabric still looks nice. The design of this sleep sack is great. The snaps make it easy to put on a baby who is already asleep. Yes, it does make a sound as you pinch the snaps together, but that's much less disruptive than wrestling with a baby's arms and trying to fit them into small arm holes. The thickness is also another amazing feature. It's very hard to find thicker sleep sacks for cold nights. We live in the midwest, where you really do need something quite warm in the winter. And even in the summer, we keep the AC at 71 degrees (which probably makes it around 68-70 degrees in the kids' room), and keep a fan on (reduces SIDS risk!). I dress the baby in a long sleep cotton pajama, or even just a long sleep cotton onesie/bodysuit, and the baby stays warm and happy. This sleep sack is so perfect all year round. We did have a Halo sleep sack, but I used it only for a few days before I ditched it and invested in this much higher quality sleep sack. I have tried several different brands of sleep sacks and this is without a doubt the best. It is soft and warm and the zipper is an excellent quality. It is also very convenient that the zipper opens from the bottom so I don't have to expose more of my baby than need be for middle of the night diaper changes. In addition the snaps on top of the shoulder are extremely convenient, a lot easier to put on than trying to get a wriggly baby's arms through an armhole when they're tired and grouchy. I hesitated at first because of the price but it is now the go-to sleep sack and I only use the other ones if this one is not clean. Sometimes you get what you pay for, that's definitely the case with this sleep sack.

I love baby DeeDee sleep sacks! We had gotten one as a hand-me-down, and I believe my son was the third baby to wear it. It was so incredibly soft and cozy! I bought the next size up for him for this winter. We love the snaps at the top, very helpful when getting a wriggly baby (or toddler) ready for bed! Keeps my son nice and warm, and he still has ample leg room. He is 20 months and wears a size 2T clothing, so we bought the size large. Fits him wonderfully with plenty of room to grow.I had read a review about the quality of the material not being cotton and very stiff. Let me tell you, I am a cotton girl through and through! I am VERY picky. So I will say, yes the cotton is quite stiff out of the package. But as with any other quality fabric, it softens with wash and wear. And it is most definitely 100% cotton.I will also say, I tried ordering the lightweight sleep sack for him this summer and it was a horrible fit. The arm holes and neck opening were dangerously large. I returned immediately and chose a different brand. I was very disappointed because I really love the winter sleep sacks!

My 8 month old love this sleep sack! It fits really well with plenty of growing room available. It’s soft and keeps baby warm and snug all night. It’s held up great with regular washing. Wish I would’ve found this sooner!

My son, 4 months, sleeps in this every night and loves it. So easy to use when/ if needing to change his diaper at night. Since sleeping in it, he sleeps a lot longer and I’m one happy momma.

I first bought these in 2019 for my twins. We used them for camping and they were so nice and warm. They wash well, don’t shrink, and have lasted us through several kids. Now that they’ve been used for about 3 years they are finally deteriorated to the point of needing to be replaced. The fabric has pulled away from the zippers and some of the shoulder seams. The price has gone up significantly since 2019 though so I probably won’t be able to afford a new one.

Update 10/31/2013:Baby #2 is here and I can't in good conscience leave my original 3 star review! This sleepsack worked out great, and I ended up buying the next size up when my son grew out of the M. When I couldn't find the size M in my stash of baby stuff I was fully prepared to order a new one.Note that my original review said the size M seemed to run small, but more recent reviews and comments seem to indicate that the current sizing is different now.Original review:This sleepsack is nice and warm, and easy to get on and off with the shoulder snaps. It is actually fluffier than I expected and seems quite cozy. I don't understand why these things have to be so expensive, but there didn't seem to be any better priced options that were this warm.I bought the 6-18 month size for my 10th percentile 13 month old thinking it should fit him through the winter no problem. It doesn't have a lot more room for him to grow, and I'm not sure it will fit for another 4 months.I bought it to replace a Halo sleepsack which was not warm enough for winter in our house. My son could easily walk around in the Halo sack since it is relatively wide at the bottom. The Baby Deedee sleep sack is close fitting and does not really allow him to walk. The first morning in it, I found him standing awkwardkly in his crib with his feet far from the side, leaning over to hang on the side. I think he was stuck! We probably need to modify our bedtime routine to put the sleep sack on just before saying goodnight (instead of at the same time as pj's, then picking out books to read, etc.), but I still think the lack of mobility in it is going to be a problem.I would give it more stars if the cut was more generous in terms of sizing and allowing for mobility.

I absolutely love these sleep sacks. I repurchased as my son got older. He was always warm and snug, they are easy to wash, and simple to use. I like how the shoulders snap open and shut in addition to the zipper. Every mom with a smart kid will appreciate that it is a top to bottom zipper too! I’m excited to have a go to sleep sack for my second baby, and just purchased a size small for his transition out of the swaddle. Can’t recommend enough!

My order arrived next day in a beautiful packing and it looked like a wearable quilt. I bought this for my niece and she immediately liked her cozy bag. It kept her warm and snug. she has been sleeping so much better in this wearable blanket, that we decided to buy one more in next size as a backup.
