Way better than a regular spoon, which may have tough edges, plus it's difficult to get all the food with the wrong positioning. This spoon accepts all sorts of orientations because it flexes. It's a better teething surface than a regular spoon. The obvious weakness is that no liquids are allowed, but you're probably not doing that anyway. It's pastes or puddings or mushy sticky foods, and those fit into this spoon just fine. Our little one's favorite is mashed potatoes!

These work great! This is perfect for our 5 month old who is just starting to eat purées. Starting with the slotted spoons is helping him to learn how to feed himself while keeping a majority of the food on the spoon. Super easy to clean! We pop them in the dishwasher and it gets all the food out of the holes.

We live in south Louisiana and eat a lot of rice and gravy. These spoons make it easy to help baby eat. I just smash some food on it and give it to him. He also loves to just teethe on them. I throw them in the dishwasher to clean and it works great.

My baby enjoyed using these when we introduced soft solids, but she doesn’t use them much now as she prefers to use her hands. But they are great to preload with things like mashed potatoes, and things with a similar texture.

Bought these for my baby starting solids at about 5 months old. These are great because the baby can grasp easily and bring it to their mouth without the food falling off of a traditional spoon. These were much cheaper than the name brand and work great. Highly recommend!
