I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews because of the smell everyone was talking about. The smell is not as strong as everyone says the oil I put in my own hair is stronger. After a few weeks of using it on my child’s hair it did help promote growth. You can not use it a few times and think you will see results it has to be consistent. I will be ordering more when we finally run out. I believe it’s been about 2 months since I purchased it and we still have about 1 month left since I do use too much just enough for her.

I ordered this due to the fact my baby boy has hair on the back of his head when born but none on the top- he looks like an old man with a receding hairline!I started using it on the top of his head every night after his bath and although it doesn’t smell to good it seems like it’s working as hair is sprouting!!It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper lid so it makes it easy to drop a few drops onto your fingers and then massage onto your child’s head or hair.As it’s an oil it rubs in well but obviously is a little greasy If you use too much - a little goes a long way!I may even use this on myself as I’m getting some hair loss postpartum and wondering if this will help me too!

They list the following ingredients on the bottle:Alma OilAloe Vera OilCastor OilCoconut OilAvocado OilWhen I first opened this bottle I was really surprised by how strong the scent is. It smells like very strong incense to me and I was concerned that it has added perfume because the scent is so strong. I can’t imagine using this on a baby because of the strong scent. The scent reminds me of walking into a hippy store that sells all sorts of crystals, incense, and bells - a little strange for a baby hair oil in my opinion (but to each their own, right…)I looked into Alma Oil and it is a fruit from India that is soaked in oil. It is known for helping with hair growth. What is confusing to me is why you would want to use a hair growth product on a baby???? Wouldn’t you just want your baby to grow natural hair in a natural way????There are a couple things that make me question this product.— There are flowers in the bottle but they do not list that in the ingredients.— There is Aloe Vera “oil†listed in the ingredients, but I thought Aloe Vera was a water-based gel— They state this is “organic†but I think what they really mean is “naturalâ€. The product does not seem to be “certified organicâ€â€” The country of origin is not listed on the bottle, so it makes me wonder if it is really made in the USA—I wonder if this actually contains some synthetic perfume oil because the scent is really, really strong and not something I would use on a baby.— The bottle seems to be the most expensive thing about this product. It is beautiful (purple on top and clear below so you can see the flower in the bottom), but it seems to me most of what you’re paying for is the packaging. The flowers in the bottom for some reason reminds me of the worm 🛠in the bottom of a bottle of mescal. I was a little disturbed by it, because no where do they list that this has hibiscus in the ingredients.
